This course will teach you everything you need to know as you start your sewing journey, including how to properly operate a sewing machine, different terms, fabrics, what notions you need, how to hand-stitch, and more. Throughout the course, you will complete three beginner projects; a pillowcase, a tote bag, and a pincushion. So, together, let’s all learn how to sew! You must bring your own sewing machine. Do you love to crochet? Perhaps you have heard of amigurumi or seen the adorable crocheted stuffed toys that have become increasingly popular worldwide. All you need is basic crochet knowledge and a little stuffing, and you will be on your way to constructing basic 3D shapes and toys that are as cute as they are fun to make! So, gather your friends and make new ones as we crochet amigurumi together. You must bring your own sewing machine. The supply list will be provided on the invoice.

Sarah has been skilled in crocheting and knitting for almost 20 years. Lately, she has been using these hobbies to express her creativity and relieve stress. Sarah enjoys guiding and assisting others in discovering their passion for fiber arts.
When she isn’t crocheting, Sarah is busy working in the healthcare industry as a chiropractic physician.

Courses under eight weeks must notify the ACE office at least two full business days before the class start date to receive a refund. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied. If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, the $10 cancellation fee will be waived. If the request is received less than two full business days before the start of class, no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued.
If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, you will be granted a one-time transfer for your deposit/registration fee. No refunds, transfers, or credits will be granted on or after the course start date.
